Sunday, May 5th The Day of REST!

Today was a much needed day of rest and begun a little earlier than normal because the group was singing in church and left early to practice. We sang a Spanish English rendition of nearer my God to thee and I must say we sounded quite lovely. Once we sat down it was a little different to see most of the members in a very crowded chapel get up to share their testimony. All we very brief but there was not enough time to hear the whole congregation if they wanted to share their testimonies. It was a very spiritual testimony meeting and those who shared bore very strong testimonies of their conviction to the church. Some went to gospel principles and others to gospel doctrine. Rebekah, Mckenna, and Michael went to visit a family that Rebeka´s father had batised. The rest of the group came home from Church and took a walk to the lighthouse and made sure they walked up all the 440+ steps which are numbered so you know how far you have come. After the trip some took a nap to recover from the day before and others worked on homework. At 8:00pm we had devotional and Michael gave a wonderful lesson on sister Elaine S. Dalton's talk focusing on the phrase What e'er thou art, act well thy part. It was a very nice fast Sunday.
